Welcome to an exciting look back at the incredible journey of innovation and growth we've experienced on the Logiqc platform throughout FY25! We recently hosted a webinar, "Looking Back at FY25's New Features," featuring Bret Mannison, our Director of Product Development, who shed light on the significant updates and improvements rolled out this past financial year.
If you missed it, or if you’d like a recap, here’s a comprehensive overview of the key highlights.
A Year of Focused Innovation
Our releases throughout the year can be broadly categorised into:
- User Experience & Interface: Enhancing usability and accessibility.
- Reporting & Analytics: Providing richer insights and data analysis capabilities.
- Data Management & Workflow Automation: Streamlining processes and improving data handling.
- Integrations & Interoperability: Connecting Logiqc with other essential systems.
- Industry Relevance: Strengthening our support for various industry standards and accreditations.
The Driving Force Behind the Innovation: You!
Introducing over 80 new features and improvements is no small feat! When asked about the primary drivers behind this intense period of development, Bret emphasised that our releases are a direct result of a combination of our planned product roadmap and, crucially, the valuable feedback and requests from our users.
We're incredibly proud to share that 32% of the 85 new features and enhancements released in FY24 and FY25 were suggested by you, our users. This collaborative approach ensures that the Logiqc platform remains fit for purpose, relevant to market requirements, and directly addresses the evolving needs of our community.
Key areas where we saw strong customer demand included:
- Enhanced Security
- Increased Automation
- Seamless Integration between registers
- Improved Ease of Use
Furthermore, market trends heavily influenced our work, with a strong focus on bolstering our capabilities in:
- Compliance Management
- Risk and Incident Management
- Platform Integration
Highlighting Key Areas of Advancement
With so many updates, it's understandable that you might want to know where we’ve made the most significant strides. Here are a few key areas where Logiqc users have already begun to see tangible benefits:
- User Experience & Interface: We’ve made significant enhancements to the user interface, aligning it with the W3C accessibility standards. This ensures a more inclusive and user-friendly experience for everyone. Additionally, the new "save reports as draft" feature provides greater flexibility and control over report generation.
- Reporting & Analytics: We've introduced new reports within the Analytics section for our Reporting registers, allowing you to identify trends across different business areas. We've also launched new, printer-friendly, and shareable reports for Risk, Feedback, and Repairs. Finally, new dashboard widgets now provide a quick and easy visual overview of your Audit, Maintenance, and Compliance schedules.
- Data Management & Workflow Automation: We've significantly enhanced the logic behind our Business Rules feature. This empowers you to further automate delegations, notifications, and security settings for reported events across incidents, feedback, improvements, and repairs, saving valuable time and ensuring consistent processes.
- Integrations & Interoperability: The introduction of REST APIs for the external creation of Incidents, Feedback, Improvements, and Repairs opens up exciting possibilities for seamless integration with other systems you might be using.
- Industry Relevance: We’ve added ten new evidence reports specifically designed to support compliance with standards relevant to RTOs, community and social services, health and safety, and more. This demonstrates our ongoing commitment to helping you meet your regulatory obligations.
Showcasing a Standout Innovation: Accessibility and Efficiency
During our latest webinar, Bret highlighted the enhancements to meet W3C accessibility standards as a particularly impactful innovation. This ensures that the platform is more accessible to a wider range of users, promoting inclusivity and ease of use for everyone. The "save reports as draft" feature was also showcased, providing a practical improvement that allows users to work on reports incrementally and review them before finalisation.
Ensuring a Seamless User Experience Through Change
Introducing so many changes can sometimes bring questions about how existing users will adapt. Rest assured that our team has implemented robust strategies and processes to support you through these updates.
A key component of this is the User Pilot Help Centre, which provides readily available resources, guides, and support materials to help you navigate and understand the new features.
Looking Ahead: Building on the Success of FY25
FY25 has indeed been a year of significant growth and innovation. Looking forward, the key learnings from this period, particularly the value of user feedback, will continue to shape our product development strategy.
Our roadmap for the coming year will continue to prioritise the themes of Enterprise Solutions, Integration, Collaboration, Insights, Automation, User Experience, and Mobile accessibility, all working in synergy to provide you with a comprehensive and powerful solution.
